Before founding Bozkurt | Bozkurt, Gökhan was the litigation partner and co-head both litigation and investigations departments at Paksoy, one of the Turkey’s largest full service law firm. Prior to that, Gökhan acted for Turkey’s one of the the biggest conglomerate litigation matters across Turkey over 7 years.
He graduated from the Istanbul University and has been a member of the Istanbul bar since 2001. He is also a member of the International Bar Association.
Gökhan Bozkurt’s practice covers a wide range of disputes, including commercial litigation, white-collar crime, internal investigations, administrative law challenges against governmental decision-making before all level of the administrative courts, tax disputes, claims of breach of contract, fraud, bankruptcy litigation, creditor-debt disputes, tax litigation, unfair competition, shareholder disputes, trade mark/patent infringement or invalidation cases, employment litigation, union disputes and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Over 15 years’ experience, Gökhan advised and represented, both as claimants and defendants, for a broad range of clients, including large corporates, private equity houses, financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, automotive giants and individuals. He has also conducted internal investigations on behalf of multinational companies.
His cases involve a wide range of industry sectors including banking, insurance, automotive, pharmaceuticals, mining, technology, oil and gas, manufacturing. He has represented global corporations based in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, South Korea in complex commercial disputes.
